Ana Maria Polo personal life
Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in Havana, Cuba. Her family moved to Miami after she reached two years old. Ana, who was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father, both at two years of age, moved to Miami and joined her parents. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba was the host of the famous Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado" that was the first Spanish programming to be awarded a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she ranked first for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo completed her studies at Florida International University with a academic degree in political science. Her birthplace was in Havana on April 11, 1959. Then she earned the PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and was a lawyer for over 20 years within Miami. Following that, she received the PhD in Law at University of Miami. University of Miami. Polo was first introduced to the public via television in 2001 through Telemundo's show Sala de Parejas (2001) as well as other court shows where her expertise in law was utilized. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958, she released her book Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) in which she was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute emigrated to the United States after leaving Spain in 1960. Polo was an ovarian cancer survivor, regularly raises funds for the cause and speaks at events. She's always been a vocal advocate on behalf of LGBT issues. She is a 1987 graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and is a Florida Bar member.
