Jessica Steen

 

Jessica Steen is a Canadian actress who has appeared in television and film. She is known for her performances in Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future, Homefront, Earth 2, Armageddon, Left Behind: World at War, NCIS, Flashpoint and the CBC series Heartland.



 



 Personal life



 Jessica Steen was the daughter of Joanna Noyes (an actress) and Jan Steen (an actor and director). She is of Dutch and Scottish heritage.



 



 Steen Apart from her entertainment career is an environmentalist and an advocate for animal rights. Steen is a supporter of David Suzuki, the World Society for the Protection of Animals, and the Western Canadian Wilderness Committee. She is a certified diver, as well as skilled in many circus arts, including fire-twirling stilt-walking , fire-twirling and stilt-walking.
