Gugulethu Sophie Mbatha - better called Gugu is a British stage and film actress. Her fame was boosted by her role in BBC's 'Doctor Who,' a British science-fiction television show. Handler was a part of The Tonight Show for a period of time as a correspondent. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006 when she hosted her own E! show. called The Chelsea Handler Show. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler appeared on The Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour on American soil in the following year. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all broadcasted her stand-up show. In 2010 she was selected as host of the 2010. MTV Video Music Awards. It made her the 2nd woman in the history of television, after Roseanne Barr, who hosted the VMAs.
